Estimate D.O. application GPA views: Total, BCPM, BCP, and All Other coursework.
AACOMAS converts transcript grades to numeric values, multiplies by attempted credits, and divides quality points by credits. Quarter credits are officially converted to semester hours.
AACOMAS is the centralized application service for D.O. medical schools. During verification, it calculates GPAs from transcript-entry data using AACOMAS numeric grade values. Those values may differ from your institution's display GPA.
This estimator separates coursework into Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, and All Other. That gives applicants a quick view of Total GPA, BCPM GPA, BCP GPA, and AO GPA without manually rebuilding a spreadsheet.
For the cleanest estimate, enter every graded college-level attempt from every institution. Non-graded credits such as pass/satisfactory marks usually do not enter the GPA calculation. Quarter-hour coursework should be converted according to official AACOMAS rules before final comparison.
