Our mission

Working out a GPA should take seconds, not a spreadsheet and a headache. KnowMyGPA exists to give students a clean, reliable place to calculate grades — whether you are checking your semester GPA the night before results, planning the score you need on a final, or weighing up how an AP class changes your average.

Every tool is free, works instantly in your browser, and is built mobile-first because that is where most students actually are. There are no accounts, no paywalls, and no popups getting in your way.

How the tools work

All calculations happen on your device. Nothing you type is uploaded or stored on our servers, so your grades stay private. The site is built as a fast static website with no heavy frameworks, which is why pages load quickly even on a slow connection.

A note on accuracy

Our calculators use widely accepted grading conventions, but schools differ — some weight courses differently, set their own letter-grade cut-offs, or treat an A+ as 4.3 instead of 4.0. Always treat our results as a helpful estimate and confirm anything important against your school's official policy or transcript.
